Calvert Library invites you to enjoy exhibits of local art in each of our locations all month.

Gary "Doc" Scribner, a Dunkirk-based photographer, returns for his 3rd show at Fairview Branch. His latest series of photographs portrays his interests in landscapes, street scenes and flora.

Ms. Martin-Brennan, is a Leonardtown-based mixed media artist combining photography, acrylics and oils. She transforms black and white photographic images to artworks that evoke color, emotion, and texture.

Sandra Steedle is a figurative painter, working primarily in acrylic and oil, whose work explores the intersection of personal narrative, faith and emotional resilience. Steedle has taught students, ages 9-19, fine arts drawing and painting for over ten years in Calvert County and is owner/operator of Sandra Paints. Sandra's motto is "If you can dream it, I can paint it!"
