Calvert Library Twin Beaches Branch invites you to enjoy the work of local photographer, Laura Moyer. View Laura's work through January 2025.

Raised on the East Coast, Laura moved to Calvert County and made it her family's home in 2009. Her interest in composition and lighting grew after taking a film and video class in high school and further grew in college. She believes her work has been influenced by the art of Bosch, Seurat, Escher.

Laura enjoys taking photographs of the natural world, especially images that are particularly beautiful or moving. In observing the natural world, "I am constantly in awe of the fascinating things that would ordinarily be overlooked... Many details of our natural world are missed in our harried lives and I enjoy capturing them." Visit Laura's photographs through January 2025.
