Two local business development experts will present the basics of an effective business plan.

Thinking about starting or growing your business? Join us for Business Planning 101! This engaging session will guide you through the essential elements of a strong business plan, including defining your business, conducting market research, and exploring financing options. Don’t miss this opportunity to set your business up for success!

Kathy MacAdams is a Business Retention Specialist for Calvert County. She holds a B.S. degree in business management, M.S. in business from the University of Maryland, University College and a Master Economic Development Practitioner (MEDP) certificate from the Advanced Economic Development Leadership (AEDL) Program.  Her experience stems from federal government analysis, business assistance and academic business teachings.  In addition, Ms. MacAdams is certified in Import/Export and Business Consulting.

Nichole White, Business Development Specialist, serves as a business ombudsman overseeing development projects and promoting smart business growth opportunities within the county. Ms. White is a Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA) member.

This event is part of our Financial Literacy series, sponsored in partnership with Calvert Library, C4, and the Calvert County Commission for Women.
