Have you taken some time away from school? Do you have work or family obligations outside of school? These students are known as nontraditional students. This free informal presentation will discuss the college admissions and financial aid processes for nontraditional students. This is an in-depth presentation for students of any age. Offered in person and over Zoom.

Michelle Kidwell is an Educational Consultant with Chesapeake CollegePlan who has over ten years of experience advising students on topics related to college access and success. She is a member of IECA, a professional organization for Independent Educational Consultants, and has earned her financial aid credentials from NCAN (National College Attainment Network). Michelle is dedicated to providing resources and guidance through the college process with specific attention to FAFSA submission through FAFSA completion, which involves responding to all requests from the Department of Education, the Maryland Higher Education Commission and colleges to which the student has applied, and results in financial aid offers.   

This event is co-sponsored by Calvert Library, C4 and the Calvert Commission for Women. All events are recorded and later posted on Calvert Library's YouTube Channel.
