Want to learn how to make a simple craft version of Maryland's State Flower? Need some recommendations for a new book or graphic novel to read? Please register to receive an emailed link to the Zoom event an hour before it begins.

Participants will learn how to make an artificial version of Maryland's State Flower and learn about the books that have been nominated for Maryland's Black-Eyed Susan Award. Please register to receive an emailed link to the Zoom event an hour before it begins.

Supplies Needed:

  • Scissors
  • Paper Clip
  • Eraser
  • Scrap Paper
  • Yellow & Black Writing Instruments (markers, crayons, Sharpie or hi-lighter will all work)
  • Small Wooden Stick (pencil, chopstick or dowel stick)

Optional Supplies:

  • Clear 16oz Soda Bottle
  • Yellow Paint
  • Black Pompom
  • Hot Glue
