It's standard advice not to talk about politics, religion, or money. Of course, people DO talk about them, often without guidance or experience to keep those conversations civil and productive. Join us to learn how to engage those with different political viewpoints and work together for the betterment of our community.
Prepare for the 5th annual National Week of Conversation (April 24-30) by joining us to discover common interests, solve problems and perhaps even raise our voices together! This community conversation will include an introductory talk by Nikki Phillips of Professional Communication Training followed by small group discussion. The event will be held outdoors. Refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Mully's will be open if you wish to purchase anything from them.
Mully's Brewery is located at 141 Schooner Lane in Prince Frederick. Their website is: https://www.mullysbrewery.com/
This event is offered as part of Libraries Transforming Communities: Focus on Small and Rural Libraries, an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA) in collaboration with the Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL).
