It's the triumphant return of the Teen Book Box! During the summer, we will be checking out free boxes each month to teens who register. Inspired by subscription boxes like Loot Crate, each box will have a theme and contain a library book to borrow, a free book to keep, a fun activity, and a snack. Boxes can be picked up from August 15 to August 31. The theme for August is "Sci-Fi."

Boxes can be picked up from August 15 - August 31. Each library branch is participating, so be sure to choose the one you want to pick your box up at! We will have a limited supply each month, so if registration fills up, add your name to the wait list. Feel free to decorate the box and share your masterpieces with us!
Fairview Branch will have 10 boxes.
Prince Frederick will have 15 boxes.
Southern Branch will have 10 boxes.
Twin Beaches Branch will have 10 boxes.
If you would like to discuss your book and/or activities, please join us on Discord! These boxes were created intentionally for teens 13-18 years old. Some materials chosen will not be suitable for children under the age of 13. It is strongly suggested that parents/legal guardians review all library materials before checking items out.
