First up, "The Mirror Crack'd," a 1980 adaptation of Agatha Christie's "Miss Marple" book "The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side." As with almost all of Christie's film adaptation, "Mirror" features a star studded cast, including Tony Curtis, Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson, and, of course, Angela Lansbury playing the starring detective. Join them in a tale of murder, deception, lies, and mirrors!

Next up 1984's "Blood Simple!" The first feature length film from the legendary Coen Brothers sees them already at home in their "hayseed" aesthetic, empty bars full of the unsavory type, wide expanses of country dotted with sad tales, and M. Emmet Walsh delivering a standout performance that will make your skin crawl! It's also the first film from Frances McDormand, who would eventually marry director Joel Coen. "Blood Simple" is a story of violent characters who all only have half the pieces to the puzzle, and you'll just have to see who's still standing by the end!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO WATCH BOTH MOVIES TO COME! ONE OR THE OTHER IS FINE :)
