Estate Planning Basics (PF + Online)
Wednesday, March 26
6:30pm - 7:30pm
Calvert Library Prince Frederick
Zoom Room, Combined Meeting Rooms 1 and 2Learn from an attorney about three important documents for your estate plan. This presentation will be made available in person and on Zoom.
Local attorney, Rose Crunkleton, will present the three basic documents that all persons should have in their estate plan—a will, a power of attorney, and an advance directive. She will also give tips on how to avoid the court-supervised process of the distribution of assets after someone dies, known as probate. Rose will briefly touch on revocable living trusts.
Rose C. Crunkleton has been practicing in estates and trusts for over 30 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Maryland in College Park. Rose is active in many community organizations and formerly served as an elected member of the Calvert County Board of Education. She was recently appointed by the Governor of Maryland to serve on the judicial nominating commissions for Calvert and St. Mary’s counties. Rose was judicial law clerk to the Honorable Steven I. Platt of the Circuit Court of Prince George’s County, and practiced law with her father, George A. Wilkinson, in Hyattsville.
This event is sponsored in partnership with C4 and the Calvert Commission for Women.
