Does your K-5th grade child love to read out loud, or struggle with reading confidence? Here's the chance for everyone to practice in a safe and welcoming space! 

How it works for young readers:

  • Register for the event on this page.
  • Bring your favorite books, or pick one of ours when you get here--we have plenty!
  • Choose your teen Reading Buddy and read them a story!
  • Have fun!

How it works for teen Reading Buddies:

  • If you are interested in being a Teen Reading Buddy, please register for the event and expect an email with more information at least three days before the event.
  • Help a young reader build their confidence by being a kind and patient listener!
  • Recommend books you liked as a child.
  • Earn a service learning hour!
