Books in Bloom is a community event to make book inspired floral arrangements. Join one of Calvert Garden Club's demonstration classes to learn tips and tricks to floral design. This is a great opportunity for homeschoolers, clubs, scouts, or anyone who loves flowers an opportunity to make something to share with our community.

There are no wrong designs! All are welcome! This is a fun floral design to make representing the 2023 theme of "connections" through your own inspiration of any adult or children's book at Calvert county libraries.  We encourage you to check out the book to display with your floral arrangement. Please sign up at the library you would like to display your arrangement at. Please do not use very fragrant flowers in your display and it should not hang down over the display bookshelf or table. Have fun with your creativity but keep the floral aspect of the interpretation.

We would love to have the community join us in the event.

If you decide to display an arrangement at one of the Calvert Library locations for Books in Bloom, please register for the appropriate location.
