Elaine Davy Strong is a local Southern Maryland artist who has experience in acrylics and oil painting. She worked in the National Gallery of Art photo lab and has experience restoring art. Her artwork has been featured at Annmarie Garden and CalvART in Prince Frederick.
Do you remember the days of tobacco in Calvert County? Drop-in and participate in a community art project by painting small squares for a mosaic-style mural which will hang in a new exhibit titled "Christmas Came when the Tobacco Was Sold: Tobacco Farming in Southern Maryland" at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum.
Join us for a celebration of our new tile mural designed and crafted by artist Parran Collery! The art was funded in part by the Friends of Calvert Library and a grant from Maryland State Arts Council. The Friends will host the reception.
