This Blue Star Families - Family Book Club is a unique humanities-based and family-focused program building community among military and civilian families. The program is free for participants. Families with children 5 to 13 will enjoy discussing children's stories about such ideas as family, courage and community.

Please join other military families for a fun evening with books and a dinner. By participating your family will make new friends in the community, enjoy reading and sharing ideas together, learn more about community and library resources, and plant the seeds for future academic success. We hope to see you there! Registration is required. Log in or request to join Blue Star and register for the event. Or contact Julie Ferns jferns@bluestarfam.org

Come get your hands in clay and make a small fish or flower tile! Parran created the ceramic mural at Prince Frederick and is in the process of making one for Twin Beaches. Explore simple techniques to create a relief sculpted tile, making your own small tile to keep, adding color with bright underglazes. Tiles will be fired offsite and shown at the Tile Workshop Art Show on March 27th.
