David F. Brinker presents "Build It, and They Will Come--restoring breeding habitats for Common Terns."

Mr. Brinker is an Avian Conservation Ecologist with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Natural Heritage Program Wildlife and Heritage Service.  Many of Dave Brinker's conservation and research projects have been featured on Maryland Public Television's series "Outdoors Maryland" including his work with several species of owls (Snowy, Great Horned, Northern Saw-whet) and the rare American Goshawk.

Calvert Library Twin Beaches Branch invites you to enjoy the artwork of longtime local artist Gary Pendleton, from February through April. Gary Pendleton has painted extensively around the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. He is a plein air painter in both oil and watercolor, and has worked with scratchboard and printmaking. This exhibit features many of his works with a focus on local scenes.
